Round Rock ISD is proud of its long-standing tradition of educational excellence—driven by the dedication, passion, and talent of our teachers. Each year, every campus honors one outstanding educator as its Teacher of the Year, recognizing those who go above and beyond to inspire and support their students.

From this exceptional group, a selection committee made up of educators, administrators, and community leaders chooses one Elementary Teacher of the Year and one Secondary Teacher of the Year to represent the entire District.

Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet

The Round Rock ISD Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet is a special evening dedicated to recognizing the best educators from across all 56 campuses. Hosted by Superintendent Dr. Hafedh Azaiez, the event culminates in the presentation of trophies to the District’s Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year.

As a proud program partner, the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation celebrates these outstanding educators by awarding monetary prizes to both District winners and all campus honorees.
