Resource Boutique

The Resource Boutique provides Round Rock ISD homeless and foster care students with emergency food and water support, hygiene products, school supplies, backpacks, snacks, and Happy Birthday Bags from donations through the community.
Resource Boutique
The Resource Boutique was established at the start of the pandemic to support Round Rock ISD students when two local nonprofits could no longer meet their needs. Rather than let these vital services disappear, the PIE Foundation stepped in to create a dedicated space to provide essential resources.

Happy Birthday Bag Program
Every child deserves to feel special on their birthday—but for many families, celebrating simply isn’t an option. In Round Rock ISD, more than 1,100 students are enrolled in the Families in Transition (FiT) / Homeless Education Program, meaning they are either unhoused or in foster care. These students face immense challenges, often struggling with feelings of insecurity, anxiety, and uncertainty.
That’s where the Happy Birthday Bag Program comes in. This initiative ensures FiT students can celebrate their birthdays without financial burden by providing them with a “birthday in a bag.” Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and community partners, we assemble and distribute these special bags each month.
Each Happy Birthday Bag includes:
🎁An age-appropriate gift
🎂 A mug cake mix for a sweet treat
💌 A handwritten birthday card
🎉 Party supplies for six, including fun party favors
You Can Make a Difference

“I wanted to take a moment and personally thank y’all for the love and delivery of copy paper and boxes of school supplies to the DAEP. I know that we were not alone in the budget cutting, and other schools may struggle mightily this fiscal year. What y’all do is more vital than ever. I am so proud to be associated with PIE and look forward to seeing y’all soon. Hope y’all have a magnificent and profitable year!”
