After graduation, he became a dedicated IT Systems Analyst in the legal field. Adrian attributed his strong work ethic to his mom, Lillie, who worked for the Round Rock ISD for 42 years. Adrian had a deep love for music and was a self-taught guitarist and pianist. He owned over 20 guitars and was enthusiastic about each one.

After Adrian’s passing from cancer on October 31, 2018, together family and friends raised funds in support of the  Adrian Zamarripa Memorial Fine Arts Fund Scholarship. In honoring Adrian’s love of all forms of music, the fund was created to support private lessons for any student in need who participates in band, choir, orchestra, mariachi and any other form of music. The fund will also support the purchase of new instruments/equipment that a student cannot afford to purchase on their own as part of their participation in any organized district wide fine arts program.
