Susan C. Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Susan C. Brown Memorial Scholarship honors female athletes who are dedicated to excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership.

Brown served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Round Rock ISD.

Brown devoted 25 years of her life to serving students, parents, and teachers in public education in Louisiana and Texas. She worked as a math and science teacher, a basketball coach at three Central Texas high schools, an assistant and associate principal and assistant superintendent of human resource services in Temple ISD and most recently, in Round Rock ISD. She retired from her position in RRISD in June 2011 due to declining health.
